I have a real passion for what I do and love both the creative and the personal aspect of my job. Speaking to brides and hearing all their wedding plans, understanding their style and overall feel to their wedding day is really important to me. I trained in Interior Architecture/Design before I had my daughter, but took a break to be with her. Once she was at school I decided to study jewellery design and silversmithing - a few years on and after lots of practice, here I am.
I find inspiration from beautiful things, flowers, architecture, photography. A beautiful day, a stunning view. I'll be sketching designs in my sketch book often months before I actually make any piece. Then I will put different stones, beads and fabric together that I've collected for each deisgn. Each piece in my collection is hand crafted by me personally using the finest Rhinestones, Fresh or Swarovski Pearls and Crystals, Lace, Tulle or Veiling.
I love the look on a bride's face when she tries on lots of different headpieces and then finds the one that she loves. Then when she comes back for her final fitting and you get the smile when she tries her accessories on. That's job satisfaction at it's best.
